CURRENTLY SEEKING NEW OPPORTUNITIES

Seeking new opportunities in Design & Art Direction for Branding, Advertising, Packaging, Product and Digital Design. Depth of knowledge and experience in Games, Beauty, Fashion, and Technology. I am an end to end creative working or overseeing concept, design, production through to final output.

WHAT I DO

I currently work for Mattel as a Designer and Art Director for Games and Advanced Concepts. With the Games team I primarily work on our Strategy Games - Developing Design for Branding, Product, Packaging and Marketing. On the Advanced Concepts team I work on tech products and tech-toys, Designing Branding, Packaging, and Digital Design for UI/UX, Apps, and Web.

I also run my own creative agency, Polychrome, which provides Design and Strategy solutions for a variety of clients in the Entertainment, Tech, Beauty and Fashion industries.

HOW I GOT HERE...

I grew up on the press room floors of my grandfathers printing company in New York. With Letrasets, Pantone books, and giant color charts all around and towers of Heidelberg Printing Presses as my jungle gym it's no mystery where my interests sparked.

I have also always had a passion for story telling, teaching and problem solving. I believe that it is this collaboration of interests which make me a designer, tirelessly trying to solve problems through story telling in a creative and artistic manner to present a solution that is new, informative, educating and aesthetically pleasing.

EDUCATED AS…

I am frequently referred to as a modern day renaissance man. I am a certified Butcher and Barista and have been educated in Printmaking, Photography, Computer Science, Art History and Graphic Design.

PERSONAL PROJECTS:

HIKING

I am an avid hiker and I enjoy photographing my treks. Follow along here.

PAINT IT BLACK

A few years ago I started a personal project call "Paint It Black" in which I would find inspirational product design and paint it black to remove all branding of the item. I am interested in the visual relationship we have with everyday items and this became a way to document and diagnose this relationship. see all my posts here.
