Night Shift Album Art Competition
We had a number of people from the print, design and illustration community join us Saturday July 30th for Night Shift at the International Printing Museum.
We started the evening with a tour of the museum, giving everyone a lay of the land and general information about what we have to offer. After the tour the group of about 10 guys was split into two groups where we set rules for a printing game that follows the same permitters as project runway. Everyone was given time to concept for a fictional album cover for a band called "gustav" the next step was finding and picking out any combination of foundry, wood type or use the ludlow and any blocks they would like as well to construct their concept and then print it.
The night was a lot of fun and we definitely look forward to doing it again soon.
