Close Up Photo Shoot
These are images from my first solo photoshoot, set up, operated, run and directed by myself. These images needed to be shot as perfectly as possible because, due to restrictions, absolutely no post editing was allowed. This meant that I needed to have all colors and lighting spot on during the shoot as I could not go in to change anything in photoshop. No adjustments to white balance, no exposure, no removing blemishes, stray hairs or cleaning up complexion. This was a fantastic challenge and I am really proud of the way that it turned out. Below are some examples of the different looks that were done for the shoot on two different models. Again, the images below have not been retouched at all and were only brought into photoshop for resizing.
CAMERA: Shot using a Canon 5D Mark II with an EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM macro lens. LIGHTING: One lamp, a 28in. beauty dish with sock and a 40in. silver matthboard to remove butterfly shadowing.
